Our annual awareness fundraiser, White T-Shirt Day is back again this year for the second edition!
Taking place on Tuesday, 27 March 2018, schools and businesses are encouraged to wear a white t-shirt to show that they support the independence and rehabilitation training of blind and partially sighted people.
Each student and staff member participating in White T-Shirt Day will receive a unique T-Shirt sticker for either R5.00 or R10 .
All proceeds raised by the participating schools and businesses will be used to provide critical rehabilitation and independence skills services to our adult and children blind and partially sighted clients. A portions of the funds raised will also be used to purchase specialised equipment for our clients, such as the white cane, which is a key tool used by blind people leading independent lives.
If your school or business is interested in taking part in this unique event, and would like to find out more, contact our PR & Awareness Coordinator, Cashelle McLean at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 041 487 1150.
